Description
Responsibilities: • Be the direct interface to the assigned customer brand in relation to all activities that impact the quality of our products, processes and performance that influence customer perception and experience • Ensure that the customer specific requirements (CSR’s) are consistently applied & met in the manufacture of that customer brand products we produce across all value streams in our manufacturing sites globally • Execute quality product / process and customer requirements audits around new value streams / programs from quote to SOP plus 90 days to meet the customer needs • Understand customer quality requirements and to plan for program accordingly • Track and manage program related APQP status and handle escalations • Monitor sampling quality effectiveness to ensure product maturity development is completed • Liase with Supply Base Development organization as needed to track and monitor supplier performance • Ensure that design and process meet customer requirements and are consistently applied across multiple production sites for common platforms you are responsible for in Kautex • Ensure and sign off that value streams meet the expected customer quality requirements at SOP • Monitor performance of production sites for launched programs and drive prevent reoccurrence and lessons learned countermeasures / containment across affected sites • Ensure knowledge about and compliance with Customer Specific Requirements throughout your team and if necessary define training measures Experience: • Bachelor University or higher, Quality, Mechanical engineering or similar function Degree or Diploma • Quality Engineering in operations or in program 5 years • Customer facing responsibility (PM/PE QE or similar) 4 years • Automotive industrial experience 7 years plus • Detailed knowledge about customer specific requirements • Technical knowledge: PMR development process, Quality systems and tools, IATF 16949 / VDA6.3 auditor experience, APQP / PPAP detailed process knowledge • Experience in an international business environment and willingness to travel • Ideally Software Skills in Microsoft Office suite, Visio, BCAQ etc. • English language skills are required, depending on customer group also German Competencies: • Drive for results • Priority Setting • Self development • Compassion • Ethics & Values • Problem solving • Leadership and communication skills • Organizing • Developing Direct Reports and Others Bachelor University or higher, Quality, Mechanical engineering or similar function Degree
