Description

Primary Purpose of the Job To prepare and assist in conducting safety trainings and maintain the facilities and equipment for practical training. To arrange the necessary equipment in advance as per planned, organize dispatch and receipt of materials and maintain records, keep inventory of all necessary spares and standby equipment and to contribute professionally to the wide range of trainings services to QatarEnergy. Required Experience and Skills Over 8 years’ experience in an industrial training department of Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry. Educational Qualifications Completed Secondary School Education (12 years) Completed level 6 English proficiency. Holder of relevant qualifications in training and workplace assessment or equivalent. Fluent in Arabic and English languages Techniques gained through experience as an operational Safety over minimum 5-years. Qualified to teach Safety Induction, H2S/BA Course and PTW e-Learning Course. Holder of a Qatar Vehicle driving licence. Completed Breathing Apparatus Maintenance course. Completed Gas Detection equipment maintenance and calibration course. Good Report Writing Skills Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Prepare and conduct safety trainings while maintaining the facilities and equipment used for practical exercises. Manage the inventory of spares, standby equipment, and the dispatch of materials for training services.
