Description

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology (EET) or Electrical Engineering (EE).
  • Experience testing, troubleshooting or servicing radar systems and/or subsystems (i.e. Antenna Assembly)

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Experience using nearfield or farfield range equipment to evaluate antenna hardware.
  • Interpret product specifications and requirements
  • Previous experience with fiber optics in communication systems
  • Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for testing electronic assemblies
  • Experience performing root cause and corrective action analysis of technical issues
  • Experience analyzing test results and determining if hardware meets specification.
  • Lab experience with RF network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
Responsibilities

POSITION ROLE TYPE:

Onsite
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements:
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and maintain Test Procedures.
  • Root cause analysis and resolution of test failures (hardware and test equipment).
  • Maintenance and configuration control of STE (Special Test Equipment). Specify replacement equipment when required due to obsolescence.
  • Train technicians to use Test Procedures and provide written directions for trouble shooting instruction
  • Transform complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging presentations.
  • Generate and maintain equipment utilization charts and area test flows
  • Travel, as required, to support transition activities and supplier engagements.
  • Other duties as assigned
