Description

COMPENSATION RANGE: $50 - 60 PER HOUR

Our client in the Tech space is seeking a Sr. UX Designer for this 6-month contract opportunity. This client is prioritizing candidates with 5+ years of experience, knowledge of high-fidelity prototyping and testing experience, Figma proficiency, and user-centric UX design. Candidates can sit onsite in Manhattan, Denver, or Miami 3 days per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A DIGITAL portfolio of UX design work from pencil and whiteboard, to wireframes and prototypes (blog, Dribbble, Github, etc.).
  • Portfolio of largely professional work.
  • Contributed to one or more design programs or shipped products.
  • Ability to digest and translate complex technical requirements into intuitive experiences.
  • Portfolio examples of enterprise applications and shopping journey samples.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Experience with Google Suite.
  • Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or related field of study.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the user experience (UX) design for our digital products by investigating requirements and developing a comprehensive UI/UX strategy for the brand.
  • Create high-quality UX designs using a range of tools, including wireframes, prototypes, flow diagrams, storyboards, and site maps.
  • Design and test user interface (UI) elements like navigation menus, search functions, and other widgets to ensure a seamless user experience. This includes evaluating elements like calls-to-action (CTAs), banners, and page layouts.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams and other designers to craft personalized digital experiences for our users.
  • Provide expert guidance on UX research methodologies and testing to analyze and anticipate user behavior.
  • Maintain brand consistency by following established style guides for typography and graphic design.
  • Generate and evaluate multiple design solutions based on data and user feedback.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with industry-standard design software and tools.
  • Identify and solve design challenges within project briefs, recommending effective solutions.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team on complex design problems.
  • Thoroughly document and refine design solutions based on insights from prototypes and user feedback.
