Responsibilities
  • As a Senior PreSales Specialist, you will be a team leader providing guidance for the team around various aspects of our business.
  • Managing a pipeline of sales opportunities supporting multiple different technology partners. Also includes supporting Dell ~ 25% of the time.
  • Providing pre-sales support to Sales Representatives and customers for client hardware solutions
  • Identifying new hardware buying accounts and/cross-sell opportunities on existing customer base
  • Developing customer proposals and pricing comparisons for vendor licensing solutions.
  • Delivering product roadmaps, licensing, and financial content to customers.
  • Participating in local customer events deliver Softchoice content.
  • Developing and delivering training to Sales teams on vendor’s products and services.
  • Engaging with local Sales teams to sell jointly into sales territories and customer accounts.
  • Occasional oversight of sales opportunities supporting multiple different technology partners.
  • Prepare and present training content to sellers and the sales team
  • Coach and mentor Jr. members in the team
  • Lead strategic business development
  • Account mapping: Effectively map Sc to vendor accounts in Excel accounts and engage with local Sales teams to sell jointly into sales territories and customer accounts.
  • Co-ordinate with vendor AEs, attend events, and be a speaker depending on the event.
  • Identify new hardware buying accounts and prospects, upsell/cross-sell opportunities on existing customer base.
  • Delivering product roadmap and financial content to existing customers up to 4x per year
