Description
Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and FTZ regulations. Including inventory management, shipping, warehousing, and distribution processes. Supervise and mentor logistics staff, providing training and guidance to enhance team performance and professional development. Manage the customs documentation process, ensuring all shipments meet regulatory requirements for efficient clearance. Collaborate with internal departments (Purchasing, Planning, etc.) to align logistics strategies with business objectives. Maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics service providers, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with service-level agreements. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics operations. Assist in developing and managing the logistics budget, optimizing resource allocation and tracking expenditures. Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and drive strategic decision-making. Enforces BSC policies. Develop, update, review and approve SOPs and work instructions. Responsible for monitoring calls ensuring quality standards are met as well as service levels. Responsible for updating metrics, monitoring errors and ensuring quality customer service to internal and external customers. Responsible for scheduling training, payroll, work force management and deployment of personnel and special projects. Work closely with Product Managers to ensure smooth transition of products from development to active controlled distribution. Complete CAPA phases in accordance with SOP guidelines. Work with teams to identify and execute process improvements. Assists Management with special projects and HR issues. Leads department staff communication meetings as necessary. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. Licenciature International Trade, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management. English Level: B2+ (80% - 89%). Desired knowledge: Free Zone Trade and laws desirable, SAP desirable, Transita and ZADAF System knowledge desirable, Planning, Decision-making, Relationship Building Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation operations.
