POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Workday Analyst is a key Human Resources Technology team member responsible for ensuring the effective operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of the company’s HR system (Workday). This role will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Workday, providing strategic recommendations, managing system enhancements, and partnering with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to drive system efficiency and data integrity. The Senior Workday Analyst will lead HR technology initiatives, contribute to Workday governance, and support critical business functions by leveraging advanced reporting, analytics, and system configuration expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Workday SME, providing technical and functional support across multiple modules, including Absence, U.S. Payroll and Benefits.
  • Lead Workday system enhancements, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Act as a strategic partner to HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders, recommending and implementing Workday solutions that improve processes and drive efficiency.
  • Conduct system audits and proactively identify opportunities to enhance data integrity, automation, and compliance.
  • Manage and optimize Workday reporting and dashboards, leveraging Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Prism Analytics to deliver actionable insights.
  • Oversee Workday security roles and business processes, ensuring appropriate access controls and compliance with internal policies.
  • Lead and participate in Workday releases and testing cycles, ensuring system updates align with business needs and best practices.
  • Support and troubleshoot Workday integrations with third-party vendors, ensuring seamless system data flow.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering technical growth within the HR Technology team.
  • Document system processes, develop training materials, and conduct user training to enhance adoption and proficiency.
  • Stay informed on Workday trends, new features, and industry best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with external consultants, vendors, and Workday support teams as needed for system enhancements or troubleshooting.
