Description
Design, synthesise, and optimise linkers and cytotoxic payloads for ADCs. Determine and optimise Drug-to-Antibody Ratio (DAR) and conjugation efficiency. Characterise ADCs for purity, stability, and functionality using LC-MS/MS, HPLC, SEC, CE, HIC, SDS-PAGE and other analytical techniques. Perform antibody conjugation to chemical linkers using standard bioconjugation chemistries (e.g., thiol-maleimide, NHS ester, click chemistry). Purify antibody-linker conjugates using chromatography techniques (SEC, HIC, affinity purification). Hands-on experience with protein chemistry, Protein expression, chemical conjugation, especially antibody conjugation and modification. Strong background in organic/medicinal chemistry/Biochemistry and bioconjugation techniques. Hands-on experience with antibody–drug conjugation (cysteine, lysine, enzymatic). Proficiency in analytical characterisation methods: LC-MS/MS, HPLC, SEC, CE, UV-Vis spectroscopy. Must have good manual dexterity and demonstrate careful attention to detail. Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people in other departments. Work collaboratively with others and be able to adapt to various work assignments. Must be able to prioritize and organize work responsibilities in order to meet deadlines. Must possess a great deal of integrity to maintain confidentiality. Good oral and written (English) communication skills.
