JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer who can work on W2 with 15+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and services. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices in software engineering and system administration, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in using Dynatrace for monitoring and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role with a strong understanding of DevOps principles.
• Proficiency in MySQL and NoSQL database management.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Backbone.js, HTML, Angular, and WordPress.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices to streamline deployment processes.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit for automated testing solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient architectures on AWS.- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS for container orchestration.
• Utilize Dynatrace for application performance monitoring, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues.
• Lead a team of SREs, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability into the software development lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to measure system performance.
• Conduct post-mortems on incidents to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Develop automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
