SRT TECHNICIAN Purpose of the position: To support day to day running of contract operations mainly in terms of rig activities regarding Rock Drilling Tools Job-specific responsibilities: Technical Product Support – Bit Grinding and Hammer Servicing Technical Product Support – Parameter Check (Rotation/Feed(signs)) Real-time delivery of RDT to rigs. Co-ordinate installation of RDT on rigs Detailed discard analysis and dull grading (further to claims) Report incidents that may include abuse of RDT and any others. Track all new issues, discards and losses. Perform other reasonable relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor. Competences Proactiveness Listening and logic interpretation Advanced communication skills Flexible and self-reliant, self-starter. Excellent time management and deadline driven. Strong analytical capabilities Ability to function independently and with responsibility without direct supervision. Follow-through ability to complete tasks & outcomes based.
