Role and responsibilities As an Operational Supplier Coordinator (OSC) , your main focus is to secure and assure material availability to factories and the field, while acting as a central coordination point between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and global supply chain functions. You ensure stable inbound flows, resolve shortages, and safeguard operational continuity across repair, vendor sales, and service-related supply chains. You are the first point of contact for Inbound Supply Chain Management towards suppliers and internal customers, and you actively manage short-term Materials Availability Performance. In addition, you contribute to Central Service governance by aligning processes, resolving cross-functional issues, and driving continuous improvement. Your responsibilities and activities include: Act as the first point of contact for Inbound Supply Chain Management towards suppliers and internal customers, representing the Central Service Team in operational supply topics. Secure and assure Materials Availability to factories and the field by continuously monitoring supplier performance, following up on agreements and KPIs, and proactively resolving shortages, stagnations, and inbound issues. Perform pro-active supply management of a portfolio of parts by understanding demand signals, supply constraints, and potential impacts across the end-to-end supply chain. Translate supplier trends and risks into concrete mitigation actions (e.g. supply investigations, replenishment optimization, logistical engineering). Coordinate and align repair, vendor sales, and service-related material flows, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with agreed processes and service levels. Support Central Service Team governance by identifying structural issues, driving standardization, and aligning ways of working across stakeholders (e.g. Supply Chain, Warehouse, CS, and global counterparts). Participate in and contribute to supplier improvement projects together with Logistic Supplier Managers and cross-functional teams, focusing on performance improvement, stability, and long-term supply robustness. Actively communicate risks, deviations, and improvement proposals, ensuring transparency and timely decision-making within the Central Service Team. Education and experience Education: - Education and qualifications Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management Furthermore has good knowledge of and/or experience with Logistics processes, Supply Chain and flows within scope of department, Planning systems (e.g. MRP). Experience: - 2-5 years relevant and proven experience in logistics / supply chain management - Experience in planning, Inbound Supply Chain Management processes in a high-tech, low-volume environment - Experience in driving material planning - Experience with planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP - Experience in complex work environment with multiple stakeholders - Experience with supply chain processes in production environment Skills Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way do that.
