operates a variety of custodial equipment including automatic floor scrubber, tuckerpole, electric upright lift, carpet extractor, brush cleaner, basic hand tools, etc. mixes appropriate chemicals/compounds for cleaning; stores, secures chemicals and equipment after shift. performs minor maintenance duties (e.g. replaces switch cover plates, resets circuit breakers, changes lamps in fixtures, unplugs toilets and sinks, replaces furniture glides)performs other comparable duties as assigned which are within the area of knowledge and skills required by the job description.
