The Summer Worker works only during the summer months; typically May-August. The Summer Worker assists the assigned department(s) in providing general support in order to meet deadlines and overall, the institution’s related goals and objectives.

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
Certification and Licensing:

Faculty Assistant: key role in the Summer Scholars Program by assisting faculty in and outside the classroom, and by providing students with academic support and guidance in the evenings during study/review sessions and office hours.
Classroom support: Your professor will outline your classroom responsibilities and guide you on the course materials to cover, with students, outside the classroom during study sessions and office hours.
Evening Sessions: In addition to your role in the classroom, Assistant must be available in the evening to meet with students
Evening: begin as early as 4:30 p.m. (The afternoon course ends at 4:30 p.m.).
