Job Description Join our team at St. James Hotel and play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional event experience. As an Event Server, you'll be at the forefront of guest interactions, providing prompt and accurate service with a warm smile. Your dedication to delivering high-quality service will contribute to our guests' satisfaction and the success of our events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve multiple tables of guests simultaneously, following management's guidance. Execute service according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision. Monitor guests' consumption of alcoholic beverages and ensure compliance with regulations. Assist in preparatory duties such as polishing and folding. Maintain cleanliness in event spaces and uphold health code guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery. Stay informed about hotel services, local attractions, and activities to assist guests effectively Qualifications Previous serving experience preferred (three to six months). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to think critically, solve problems, and prioritize tasks. Basic computer proficiency. Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Desirable Qualifications: POS experience is advantageous. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
