Saint Mary Magdalene School School Nurse Part-Time Catholic Preferred but Not Required   Saint Mary Magdalene School, a vibrant and culturally diverse prek-K through 8 school, located at 2940 Parkside Road in Columbus, is hiring a part-time School Nurse or School Health Aide for the 2026-2027 school year.  This person will develop and maintain health services for all students attending Saint Mary Magdalene School.     Essential Job Functions and Expectations: * Participates in training programs as assigned * Administers first aid as needed and contacts parents of absent, ill or injured students * Records clinic visits in appropriate log * Provides clinic coverage * Maintains immunization records and emergency medical authorization forms * Maintains a list of students with health problems * Prepares paperwork related to screenings * Maintains student files and records * Inventories clinic materials and supplies and secures appropriate equipment as needed during the day * Keeps clinic clean and maintains adequate supplies * Checks for lice when needed * Attends health staff meetings when requested * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications * School Nurse:  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and hold a valid license with the Ohio Board of Nursing * Health Aide: High School Diploma or equivalent and have successfully completed either the Para Pro examination, an associate degree or higher from an accredited institution, or a minimum of 48 semester hours (72 quarter hours) from an accredited institution * Experience working with children * Ability to work with people in a positive and confidential manner * Demonstrated ability to operate computer * Demonstrated organizational skills * Demonstrated appropriate communication skills * Willingness to complete first aid and CPR training Interested candidates should apply below.
