This position is expected to last from March 1st to mid-November. They will be closely involved in setting up for an exceptional guest experience. This is accomplished through effective handling of student communications, resource planning, event site setup/teardown, and program hosting. Will also assist with the Wheelhouse giveaway operations. They champion the company’s mission and vision and model the company’s values. What you will do: Customer service representative for assigned company programs—executing the student communications plan—ensuring accurate student information via phone and email. Plan and coordinate food and beverage needs for assigned company programs Coordinate, track and create purchase orders for resources and supplies for assigned company programs—distribute time-critical information appropriately. Program host for both reception and program days—student check-ins, area management (program setup and teardown) Program logistics support – multiple locations Assist with giveaway inventory management Run various off-site errands Safely drive company vehicles for program support Protect the moral, legal, and financial well-being of the company Continually work with other team members to find new and better ways of doing business with an emphasis on safety, accountability, leadership, and guest service. May be asked to assist counterparts at additional company locations with similar duties Other job duties as assigned Requirements Knowledge and Skills You Possess: Strong computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office required Knowledge of CRM software Ability to interact well with students and guests [customers] and fellow employees Demonstrate outstanding hospitality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize in the most productive and appropriate manner Ability to think creatively to solve problems Must be able to make quick, sound decisions in line with company values and standards Expectations: Adhere to an event-driven work schedule—primarily Monday thru Friday (evenings and some holidays required, including split shift if needed) Adhere to all company policies and procedures Willing to perform moderate amount of manual labor Professionally represent the company in the community, industry organizations, and during events Use proper and professional language in the workplace, when interfacing with guests or potential clients and when representing the company in an official capacity Show respect for others and maintain a positive attitude Maintain current valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass a background and drug screening Physical Demands: Often required to work long hours as business requires (holidays, nights, and weekends) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to work on your feet for long periods of time, in various types of weather Moderate to high levels of stress may be associated with this position
