This position is expected to last from mid-May to mid-November. This person takes care of numerous tasks critical to the effective running of Wheelhouse Experiences programs, including program preparation, event site setup/teardown, working program exercises, program hosting, errand running, and assisting with giveaway operations. They will champion the company’s mission and vision while modeling the company’s values. What you will do: Daily setup and teardown of program exercises Conduct operations tasks for program exercises Program host for both reception and program days—student check-ins, area management (program setup and teardown) Assist the Operations Coordinator with CRM tasks as needed. Program logistics support—multiple locations Assist with giveaway inventory management Running various off-site errands Safely drive company vehicles for program support Protect the moral, legal and financial well-being of the company Continually work with other team members to find new and better ways of doing business with an emphasis on safety, accountability, leadership, and guest service May be asked to assist counterparts at additional company locations with similar duties Other job duties as assigned by management Requirements Knowledge and Skills you Possess Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM software Ability to interact well with students and fellow employees Demonstrate outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in the most productive and/or appropriate manner Must be able to make quick, sound decisions that match the company’s values and standards Expectations Adhere to an event-driven schedule, primarily Monday-Friday with occasional evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Adhere to all company policies and procedures Willing to perform a moderate amount of manual labor Professionally represent the company in the community, industry organizations, and during events Use proper and professional language in the workplace, when interfacing with guests or potential clients and when representing the company in an official capacity Show respect for others and maintain a positive attitude Maintain current valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass a background and drug screening Physical Demands Often required to work long hours when needed or as business requires (including holidays, nights, and weekends) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds May be required to work on feet for long periods, and in inclement weather Moderate to high levels of stress may be associated with this position
