Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP) Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude 5+ years' experience in one or more, but not limited to the following manufacturing process: Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Plastic/Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated/Manual Assembly Processes, Controls Automation programming, Paint, Chroming, SMC, Ability to develop and present materials to leadership on short notice Ability to lead resolution of manufacturing, quality, and/or capacity issues on-site with suppliers Ability to travel in the US, Canada, and Mexico approximately 75% of the time As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
