Description
Implement robust problem-solving processes for supplier process issues related to stop shipments/builds, field service actions, prevent action closure, and BSAQ Supplier Process projects. Collaborate with Site STA to prioritize on-site visits for critical suppliers to verify capacity. Provide prioritization and leadership to Site Engineers for corrective and preventive supplier manufacturing actions. Ensure compliance with all organizational and corporate training requirements and SIM compliance for the team. Support the People Development process, mentor/coach STA site engineers, and drive timely performance feedback and effective performance reviews. Manage emerging significant supplier issues (quality, manufacturing, supply, etc.) and drive risk mitigation. Bachelor of Science/Engineering, or academic equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude. Proficiency in English for effective communication with global teams. Advanced knowledge of Supplier Quality tools, AIAG policies, and systems. Advanced knowledge of manufacturing process(es) and the ability to resolve complex issues for Underbody/Driveline/Transmission commodities. Experience in Supplier Quality. Preferably as a Site Engineer, Launch STA Engineer, and/or Resident Engineer. Supply/Crisis Management Experience.
