Eliot’s innovative CBHC program serves as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. As a Stabilization Specialist, you will be responsible for providing supportive stabilization services to clients/families in the community in need of crisis support and community stabilization. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to recovery-oriented services and will possess excellent communication, crisis management, and problem solving skills. Responsibilities: Provide crisis support and side by side interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement. Provide interventions in the office, virtually, in the community and in client’s residences based on client preference, client need, and at the clinical direction of the urgent care team. Provide and support mobile crisis interventions, stabilization, planning and evaluations. Provide follow up and follow along supports as part of short-term treatment planning, stabilization, and urgent care. Provide short term case management supports including: managing income, insurance, other entitlements, accessing other services and community resources and scheduling/coordination of all medical and psychiatric appointments. Complete all necessary paperwork, documentation, and insurance verification within the established timeframes. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field Experience working with adults, families, or children with severe and persistent mental illness and/or emotional disturbances.
