JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stable Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong work ethic. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the stables, caring for horses, and assisting with various farm operations. The Stable Worker will play a crucial role in ensuring that the animals are healthy and that the facilities are well-maintained.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience working with horses or in a stable environment is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating and maintaining farm machinery.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the handling of horses during grooming, saddling, and other activities as needed.
  • Operate farm machinery safely for tasks such as moving hay or cleaning equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to feed bags, hay bales, and other supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
