Easton Public Schools has a strong focus on celebrating the diversity of our community and taking active steps to create a school where all students feel a sense of belonging.About the Role: This position is responsible for managing the outside organization rentals of Oliver Ames athletic facilities and being the liaison between the outside organizations and Oliver Ames High School.
Working hours are generally nights and weekends throughout both the school year and summer.Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Pre-Game Responsibilities: Unlock Stadium/Emergency Access Gate: Thorough Cleaning: Walk through the area, picking up any trash in the seating areas, restrooms, locker rooms, VIP sections, and suites. This ensures the stadium is spotless before fans arrive.Trash and Recycling Bin Setup: Placing trash and recycling bins strategically throughout the stadium to promote waste disposal.Snack Shack Preparation: Unlock and ensure cleanliness if requested by organization.Field Maintenance: Walk the field and pick up any large debris, and make it ready for play.Inspection: Conducting a final walk-through to ensure all areas are clean, well-stocked, including restrooms if requested, and ready for fans.Press Box: Unlock and set up the press box including scoreboard and sound system if requested2. During the Game: Trash Removal: Emptying trash and recycling bins frequently to prevent overflow in high-traffic areas such as the concourse, seating areas, and food courts.Spill Cleanup: Quickly address any spills or messes in seating areas, aisles, or concession zones to ensure safety and cleanliness.Emergency Cleanups: Responding to incidents that may require immediate attention, such as biohazards, spills.3.
Post-Game Responsibilities: Full Stadium Cleanup: Once the game concludes, conduct a full sweep of the stadium to remove trash, food, drinks, and other debris left by fans. Trash and Recycling Disposal: Emptying all bins and ensuring waste is properly separated and disposed of, with a focus on recycling where applicable.Field and Turf Cleaning (if applicable): Ensuring the playing field is free from debris or any other materials left behind after the game.Lost and Found: Collecting and cataloging items left behind by fans for the stadiums lost.Post-Event Inspection: Conduct a final inspection of the stadium to identify any areas requiring additional cleaning or maintenance, clean and lock up the snack shack, press box and secure the scoreboard console.4. Health and Safety Protocols: PPE Use: Gloves are required when emptying trash and recycling, including the cleaning of restrooms
