We are growing rapidly and need the right candidate to join our Accounting and Finance team! You will support Aire Serv/Mr. Electric/Molly Maid/Glass Doctor/Five Star Painting.
Complete Home Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our growing accounting team! This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting. As a key player in our accounting department, you’ll assist with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) management, preparing journal entries, and generating cost analysis reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other office platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years accounting experience with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, ability to interpret and implement accounting guidance in an increasingly complex business environment.
• Ability to champion the accounting and bookkeeping team reflective of our Core Values.
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, comfort in a fast-paced, team-based culture.
• Software and inventory systems experience a plus.
• Working knowledge and experience in QuickBooks Online required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA desired but not required for the experienced candidate.
• Experience in process implementation and improvement.
• Merger and Acquisition knowledge a plus.

• Manage financial close processes in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage our Accounting Manager and share oversight of the bookkeeping staff.
• Review accounts and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Work with the Accounting Manager, General Managers, and CFO to analyze and communicate financial performance to our leadership team.
• Play a key role in acquisition-related tasks including due diligence, integration of acquired company financial information and processes in accordance with GAAP.
• Routinely audit processes and procedures.
• Work with the CFO to maintain and roll-up financials within the company accounting software.
• Provide leadership as we add to our team.
• Adopt, implement, and audit internal control measures.
