We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid knowledge of accounting practices, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years accounting experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills with the ability to provide financial reports.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial software, Jonas and/or other equivalent softwares.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monthly bank reconciliation process.
  • Bookkeeping of various entities, majorly including posting of routine transactions.
  • Performing HST filings .
  • Assist in the cash forecasting process.
  • Perform assigned month-end reconciliations functions including loan confirmations.
  • Generating reports and statements as per management requests.
  • Assist management in preparing documentation for year-end reviews.
  • Assist in quarter-end and year-end processes to close books.
