POSITION OVERVIEW:

Children’s Home Society of South Dakota is seeking a Staff Accountant- Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide support for all Children’s Home Society (CHS) and Children’s Home Foundation (CHF) Accounts Receivable accounting functions including working with payors, external auditors, federal and state agencies and general ledger journal entries for month-end closings. EDUCATION:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Preferred)
• Coursework or certification in nonprofit accounting or fund accounting (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum two years experience.
• Must be competent in utilization of Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel.
