General Responsibilities: The principal responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include: * Invoicing, with accuracy and attention to detail * Documentation of all invoicing processes * Manage special projects from Controller/CFO; create a blueprint and appropriate timeline * Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve all financial related issues and partner with other departments when needed to resolve * Contribute, as needed, with quarterly and annual balance sheet reconciliations and audits * Customer service - strong interpersonal skills to interact with multiple partners, internal corporate employees, and the field * Proactively identify and implement process improvements * Provide financial and administrative support as assigned Additional Responsibilities: * Perform other tasks as assigned * Adhere to the BCI rules and regulations as set forth in the employee handbook. * Interact with all employees, management, and the customer in a fair and consistent manner and with good customer services skills. * Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. This is a remote work position. #IND Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance. * Highly organized, strong analytical skills, personable, perseverant, and interested in learning the details of the business * Collaborative with excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. * Strong work ethic, self-directed and resourceful with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, make decisions and recommendations * Willing and able to take direction and grow in the position * Ability to analyze financial data and clearly and concisely document the interpretation of financial analysis with exceptional attention to detail * Ability to interact with other departments, partners, and the field * Strong Excel skills, including V-lookup, pivot tables, & IF formulas Experience: * Minimum three years progressive accounting / invoicing experience.
