Position Overview
The Staff Accounting position is a Senior role working under the guidance of the Supervising Accountant and a small team in a growing company. You will have direct communication with the President and be encouraged to look for opportunities to contribute. With our continued growth, there is room to advance in the company with an ever increasing range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

· Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting
· Support financial planning, and forecasting processes for planning and lender requirements.
· Prepare internal reports, cash flow and budgets, to support decision-making, lending requirements, and company growth and decision making
· Work closely with management and other departments, providing financial insights in a clear, approachable way
· Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
· Help identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices
· Supervise technology requirements and supporting updates or transition as deemed necessary.
