Description
Job Title – Staff Accountant Location – Bentonville, AR. Woodstock, GA. Jacksonville, FL. Montgomery, AL. Phoenix, AZ. What You Will Do Performs daily accounting activities, such as new vendor setup, expense report and sub-application review. Create and execute general journal entries on a daily basis based on supporting documentation in accordance with GAAP. Month-end close activities, including maintaining monthly and quarterly account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and work in process schedules. Assists with preparation of documentation as requested by external auditors. Prepares special financial reports as requested by management by analyzing account information and trends. Initiates accounting research to ensure all transactions are in accordance with GAAP. Supports the accounting team by performing other assigned duties as needed. Supports continuous improvement in the department by reviewing, recommending and implementing better methods for existing processes. Working Conditions – Office setting, Full time, Periodic travel may be required to other offices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment. Self-starter with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, verifies own work to ensure quality work product. Experience with multiple software platforms, such as Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, SAGE, ERP systems, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Preferred Experience 1-3 Years of Tax Accounting Experience College Degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business Experience with online tax filings, preparation of corporate, sales and general business tax returns Experience with Tax Research Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Communication skills, attention to detail Construction experience, multi-state jurisdictional experience, CMiC experience Your career matters at Caddell, where there is a strong emphasis on the growth and development of every employee!
