JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will maintain financial records, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • 1-2+ years of progressive accounting experience such as AP/AR, cash/revenue, fixed assets, accruals.
  • Self-direction with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with the accounting team in daily accounting department tasks such as preparing and maintaining financial records, including financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payables and account receivables for multiple divisions.
  • Ensuring completeness and accuracy of all assigned accounts, databases, and files; including bank reconciliations and income statements.
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable full cycles.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and attendant reports.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Support the year-end audit and tax preparation processes.
