JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented full time person for Accounting and HR. To manage financial transactions, reporting, and support various human resource functions. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable performing both managerial and day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the general ledger, financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance while also managing AP/AR, payroll, and budgeting functions. This accounting position reports to the General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting
  • Experience in a managerial or lead accountant role preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Proficient in accounting software MRP systems – JobBOSS is desirable
  • Microsoft office Suite
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and perform all day-to-day accounting activities, including:
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Control of cash
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Journal entries
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Month-end and year-end close processes
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
  • Manage cash flow and forecast short- and long-term financial needs
  • Process or oversee payroll and related tax filings
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts; monitor and report variances
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and other consultants
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
  • Assist with Quarterly and AOP presentation development
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and systems
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Support employee relations and address basic HR inquiries
  • Track leave, attendance, and other HR metrics.
