QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Lonewolf, QuickBooks, or similar), Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a motivated Assistant Controller to join our finance team. You’ll handle daily accounting tasks while gaining exposure to budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting. This role offers a mix of transactional and analytical work, with opportunities for growth as our company continues to expand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to verify financial transactions.
  • Process commissions and agent invoices.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits reporting (ADP).
  • Support month-end close, journal entries, and financial statements.
  • Contribute to budgeting and reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support as needed
  • Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and special projects.
