Description

Are you looking to join a fun, innovative and growing company? Look no further, Hoj Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role is for an accounting professional, with excellent aptitude and accounting skills. We are looking for someone with accounting or book keeping experience. An accounting or other business degree is a plus, but not a requirement. This position and will include a variety of tasks, including Service Order billing (including dispatch), Collections, Inventory, time card verification, and Expense Reporting (credit cards).

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare and send service invoices.
  • Backup receptionist on front desk.
  • Answer incoming customer calls and accept credit card payments.
  • Customer account maintenance and light collections.
  • Researching and resolving discrepancies between billings and issuing credits as necessary
  • Other accounting duties as assigned including account reconciliations and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Must be highly organized and be able to multi-task
  • Excellent attention to detail and efficient data entry
  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as extensive problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Windows based operating systems & strong Microsoft Excel skills (including the use of V-Lookups & pivot tables)
  • Accounting software and systems experience (we use Acumatica)
  • Ability to work in a team environment to complete goals, while also working alone on projects
  • Ability to identify and solve business problems (identifying process improvements is encouraged)

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
