Description About HPF: Houston Precision Fasteners produces high strength, fatigue rated, close tolerance fasteners using materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel, nickel alloy, titanium, waspaloy, A-286, monel and multiphase. Our fasteners have supported mission aircrafts such as; Joint Strike Fighters, F/A 18 Super Hornet, and Falcon 9; just to name a few. We are dedicated to providing a superior product to our customers. Job purpose: The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the daily accounting operations of the company. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, owns the month-end close processes, and supports audits and financial analysis to help the organization make informed business decisions. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate results. Review and posts daily inventory entries. Enter payables invoices, set up new accounts, and reconcile variances. Reconciles bank accounts daily. Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. 1-2 years of experience of Business Central Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
