Position Summary As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring the financial integrity of the agency. Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with matching Hybrid + remote options Open PTO Cell Phone Stipend Professional development Requirements Position Responsibilities – Essential Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts Assist in preparing and processing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Coordinate the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports Support in reconciling various accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy Prepare and file various financial reports Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Essential Skills and Experience Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Advantage, or similar ERP systems).
