Johnson Service Group is looking for a Staff Accountant for a Temp job opportunity in the Valencia, CA area. Someone with 3+ years of relevant accounting experience preferably someone out of the Construction industry.

• Assist Controller with Monthly Close
• Prepare, enter and post journal entries
• Prepare, enter and post cash management transaction
• Maintain multiple check registers and updating cash management reports.
• Complete multiple bank account reconciliation and other account reconciliation.
• Prepare client billing and related documents.
• Maintain Financial, fixed asset and insurance files.
• Prepare Financial Analysis
• Update monthly and weekly financial reports.
• Complete monthly OCIP/CCIP Insurance reports
• Enter and post contract schedule of values and estimate changes
• Prepare preliminary notices, mechanic’s liens and other related documents.
• Prepare weekly pension/401k reports
• Complete special projects as assigne
