Shift: Day Shift
The Staff Accountant reports to the Controller and is a key member of the accounting team.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • A/R, A/P and journal entries with responsibility for reconciliations as needed
  • Must understand all aspects of an accounting department and provide backup to Controller as needed.
  • Scans remittances and enters deposits daily.
  • Generates reports, as needed.
  • Generates invoices for billing including transmission of EDI for ASN’s and invoices
  • Assist in evaluates delinquent accounts and contacts customers to make payment arrangements.
  • Enters accounts receivable related information into the computer and files paperwork.
  • Audits freight bills against freight manifests as necessary
  • Backs up accounts payable as needed.
  • Audits shipping logs as needed to ensure invoices are accurate.
  • Analytical responsibilities as assigned by ControllerAll other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective oral communication skills in English
  • Computer proficiency including advanced excel skills
  • Able to follow instructions, and demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail and follow up
  • Strong telephone skills
  • LNK will provide training on Required Responsibilities and Procedures

Education and Experience:

  • Must have minimum of 2 year accounting degree and 4 years experience, or 6+ years experience as a full charge bookkeeper

Work Environment:

  • In person. There is no remote option for this role.
  • Overtime may be required from time to time.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
