Description Maine Veterans' Homes is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate general ledger activity, performing reconciliations, tracking cash and fixed assets, supporting budgeting processes, and assisting with financial and cost reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid position, combination of remote work and in-person duties.
