Requirements The Staff Accountant performs a variety of technical, analytical, and strategic tasks. · Maintain general ledgers by preparing and posting journal entries. · Bi-weekly bank account reconciliations · Monthly credit card account reconciliations · Assist in preparing accurate monthly financial statements. · Active participation in the month-end and year-end close. · Ensure all accounting processes adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist with internal and external audits. · Support management with special financial projects. · Maintains historical records by filing documents in our shared cloud software. · Analyzes the data to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Education & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related business field (previous bookkeeping experience preferred) · Proficient in Microsoft Excel · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously · Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas, preferred · Strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, analytical, strong problem-solving, and prioritization skills · Understanding of SFAS rules, accounting principles, confidentiality, and reporting standards Mia Aesthetics is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
