Description

Packaging Compliance Labs, is a medical device packaging testing and engineering firm headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI. We are a small company that opened our doors in 2014 and since then, due to rapid growth, have expanded our facility four times, and now have two locations in the Grand Rapids area! Additionally, we have been named one of West Michigan’s “Top 50 Companies to Watch” and “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” at both the state and national level. As a young, successful, and rapidly growing company, we are looking to add a Staff Accountant into our positive culture and work environment to provide dedicated support for our Finance Team!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0-2 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Accounting software/ERP proficiency preferred, NetSuite experience a plus
Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts receivable (A/R), including customer onboarding, invoice generation, and collections
  • Process accounts payable (A/P), including supporting the purchasing process, invoice verification, check printing, and approvals
  • Respond to vendor and customer inquiries related to billing and payments, via email and phone
  • Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accounting accuracy
  • Maintain financial records and assist with month-end closing procedures
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
  • Assist with audit and tax compliance requests
  • Support cross-functional projects from a finance point of view and provide analysis/guidance as needed
