What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant – Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll functions while supporting general accounting operations. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, maintains compliance with federal, multi-state, and local regulations, and supports financial reporting and month-end close activities.
What You’ll Do

Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
  • Review timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Administer wage garnishments, benefits deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA, federal and state tax laws, and company policies.
  • Prepare and distribute W-2s and other year-end payroll reports.
  • Serve as point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
