Description

Prairie Lakes Management is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team! If you have a strong background in accounting and are looking to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with room for growth, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Process tenant security deposits
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with move-out accounting processes
  • Insurance tracking
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and owner reports
  • Tenant relations/transactions
  • RUBS Calculations
  • Lease accuracy
  • Participate in special projects and process improvements
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree preferred
  • 2-year degree required with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Must be highly organized, pay close attention to detail, and proactively follow up.
  • Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
