Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical in supporting accurate financial reporting, maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes, and helping the business make informed decisions. Responsibilities Prepare and enter monthly journal entries and support month-end close activities Maintain and reconcile financial records including general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Own key GL accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and GAAP compliance Lead inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) accounting processes Perform and oversee bank reconciliations Manage sales tax and other regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions Oversee invoicing, collections, and vendor payment processes Generate operational and financial reporting to support leadership decision-making Support ERP system administration (ServiceTitan experience is a plus) Perform payroll accounting and related reconciliations Prepare daily and monthly reporting for field operations Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency Collaborate cross-functionally to support a scalable finance operation Requirements Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Experience with ERP systems (ServiceTitan a plus) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools Multi-unit retail experience is a plus Everyone you work with should describe you as: Reliable and accountable—you take ownership and follow through Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and effectively Self-motivated and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment Highly organized with strong time management skills And you should be motived by: Improving processes and creating efficiencies Turning financial data into actionable insights Being part of a supportive, team-first environment where you can make an impact Why Join Precision?
