We’re looking for our next Staff Accountant. Could it be you?
Supporting the finance operational team, the Staff Accountant will process daily customer payment reconciliation, prepare bank cash reconciliation, post monthly journal entries, and assist month-end close and annual audit.

• Process daily customer payment reconciliation. Generate customer deposit and cash deposit reconciliation reports.
• Reconcile cash accounts, prepare cash transfer entries between entities and post cash related journal entries.
• Update daily and weekly cash forecasting reports. Prepare variance analysis on actual vs forecast cash expenditure.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting package which includes prepaid expense tracking, other receivable sub-ledger, accrued liability subledger etc.
• Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries such as monthly payroll adjustments, intangible capitalization, recurring expense accrual etc.
• Draft monthly subsidy invoices for manufacture. Work with the sales ops team to true up rebate amounts.
• Assist with management of month-end, quarterly review, and year-end audit.

• Have 1 -3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Have credit card services or banking industry experience (considered an asset).
• Have strong experience with ERP systems and accounting related software.
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel experience.
• Are able to work well in a team.
• Are detailed oriented
• Are able to handle large volumes of work.
