POSITION SUMMARY: The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the corporate accounting function within Regent Surgical. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP and timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain the corporate general ledger. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts including cash, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts. Prepare income statement and balance sheet variance analysis and supporting notes for monthly financial reviews. Assist with accounts payable functions as necessary including entering invoices for approval, coding, and check selection. Support the preparation and calculation of Regent fees and generate monthly invoices for our customers. Calculation and recording of corporate investment income in our equity method investments. Collaborate with internal departments to provide exceptional service and ensure accurate financial processes. Demonstrate corporate values and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in accounting Corporate accounting or industry experience is a plus but not required
