Requirements Summary: Member of the Accounting Team. The successful candidate will manage daily customer invoicing and related transactions. Additionally, the candidate will have a critical role in certain accounting aspects including, accounts payable, reconciliation of inventory accounts, providing accurate and detailed transactions, as well as some financial analysis and reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: Daily customer invoicing & sales adjustments Prepare and post journal entries & related general ledger accounting work Reconciliation of various accounts and reports Participate in the month-end closing process Prepare, create, edit and update spreadsheets Year-end audit/closing & Bank Audits General ledger maintenance – Update reports/ create accounts, allocations, year-end roll and clear Accounts Payable Qualifications: Minimum: The successful individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are also desirable: Data entry Problem solving Analytical Ability Communication Skills Interpersonal skills (ability to communicate basic accounting issues to all levels of organization) Positive attitude and the ability to learn new things Office environment may tour or infrequently be exposed to an industrial environment.
