We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounts receivable and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in invoicing, cash applications, and collections, ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes.

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure timely coding and processing of invoices.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Utilize NetSuite or similar accounting software to maintain financial data.
• Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Assist in month-end closing activities to ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
• Proficiency in invoicing, cash applications, and collections processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
