We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team located in Espanola, New Mexico. In this role, you will manage a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering reliable results.

• Prepare, post, and distribute Accounts Receivable invoices with precision.
• Process tenant lease adjustments and ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconciliations
• Review and allocate financials, posting costs as needed.
• Manage fixed assets, prepaid insurance, and prepaid expenses reconciliations.
• Prepare and distribute administrative allocation postings in a timely manner.
• Handle health insurance processing and related financial tasks.
• Assist in reviewing balance sheet accounts and making correcting entries when required.
• Collaborate with team members to create purchase orders and enter Accounts Payable data.
• Perform additional accounting, financial, or administrative duties as assigned
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, demonstrating attention to detail.
• Proficiency in managing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes and expense reconciliation.
• Ability to allocate costs effectively and handle cash posting tasks.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing balance sheets.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with colleagues across departments.
