Description

Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Revenue Accountant role for a growing company in Olympic Valley. Reporting to the CFO, the Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity for all transactions, assuring all transactions are booked in an accurate, timely, and compliant manner. This will require coordinating daily entries with the external accounting team, validating accuracy, performing account reconciliations, while maintaining internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years in accounting, accounts receivable, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in accounting, finance, or business management
  • Strong Excel capabilities - to include Sum Ifs, Look ups, Pivots
  • NetSuite experience highly desired
  • Desired experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Bill.com, and Google Suite

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Sum Ifs, Lookups, and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Bill.com, and Google Suite is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Revenue coordination: validating daily sales data from digital, wholesale, and international channels, revenue recognition, and order fulfillment
  • Receivables management: oversee billing and customer payments, coordinate resolutions with customers, credit management, collections, sales tax certificates
  • Cash management: daily cash and credit card reconciliation
  • General ledger: adjusting journal entries, account reconciliations

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accounts payable: coding and coordinate entry for expenses, bills and credit card charges, cash disbursements, vendor profile maintenance, 1099 processing
  • Inventory management: assist with reconciliation of work-in-process, coordinate landed costs, freight, and customs
  • Tax and compliance: assist with sales tax filings, annual tax package to CPA, federal, international, state, and local compliance filings
  • Fixed asset management: depreciation schedules, coordinate capital expenditures
  • Other ad hoc tasks
