Staff Accountant

Our downtown client is looking to hire an intermediate level Staff Accountant for their team. The Staff Accountant will be focused on billing, receivables, contract administration, asset allocations, month end reconciliations, journal entry review and some payables work as well.
The ideal Staff Accountant will have 2 years of experience in a Junior Accountant or clerical role where they have focused receivables and done some month end tasks. This role is suitable for someone pursuing their CPA slowly (early PREP stages) or someone with Diploma or Bachelor’s level education but not intending to pursue their CPA. Experience with an ERP system, solid MS Excel skills, and a customer service focused can-do attitude are requisite for this role.
