We are looking for a Staff Accountant in the Augusta area. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform thorough reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain data integrity.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses to track month-over-month and year-over-year trends.
• Utilize NetSuite and other accounting software to streamline processes and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial issues and provide insights for decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and other financial reviews.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
• Proven experience in accounting roles, with a focus on journal entries and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Solid understanding of month-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
